I did the standard crisscross of the boulder field to get to the top of Storm Peak and then Mount Lady Washington. But I took a less common descent path off Mount Lady Washington directly down to Chasm Lake. This goes pretty well and never gets harder than class-3, just beware of the cliff band above Chasm Lake. At the top of the cliff band traverse east to attain the top of a talus slope that goes all the way down to the shore of Chasm Lake.
