Belford, Oxford - Missouri Gulch TH

Trailhead: The parking lot was full by 0545 hours, Saturday morning. You will have lots of company on this one. There is a toilet at the parking lot.

Trail: The trail is obvious and in good condition the entire route. Roach and Middlebrook notes are accurate. There are several other posted reports with pictures, so I will spare you mine.

Parking lot to Belford: 2:40 at a steady pace. (I was passed by Wendy, a runner in training, who did it in 2:05)
Belford to Oxford: 50 minutes. (Wendy: 30 minutes)
Oxford to Belford: 45 minutes. The steep climb back up Belford will test your resolve.
Belford to trailhead: 1:40.

Bottom line: I liked this hike. It is long enough and with enough climb to make it a modest challenge. Great vistas from the summits. I will do it again.
