 Shavano in September

I just got home from a hike on Shavano. A friend and I went up there today and was shocked to see two other people there. Here's the details from today.

Summary -
Great hike and good weather. As you can see from the pics there isn't a ton of snow on this trial. It faces the south and the weather reports looking warm for the next few day. Shavano is still very hikable.

Weather -
It was a bit cool in the morning. Lots of sunshine today. I saw two clouds the entire day. The wind was strong above treeline. I wore two layers for the most of the day and felt fine. I but on a jacket for the wind at the top and on the way down got a little hot with the therms on the legs.

Snow -
Not much snow. At least compared to the others in the area. There were a few spots that I sank down in the snow. But in the areas with snow, there are plenty of rocks to hike along. For the most part (96%) my feet stayed dry.

Route -
Some of the route is covered in snow, so I couldnt make out the exact path. Look at picture 3. We (and the other two guys there), scrambled up at the spot where the trail can't be seen anymore - in between, and sometimes on, the two vertical snow patches.

Pics - For some reason the pictures aren‘t showing. They are attached to my report when I go in to edit, but they won‘t show up here. ??? Any suggestions?
1 - Shows the trail above treeline. The peak on the right is before Shavano at 13.6.
2 - A Pic of Shavano from the 13.6 peak just to the south.
3 - A look at the trail from the 13.6 peak to the south of Shav.

Looking for one more hike before the end of summer? This is it.
