 Elbert - Northeast Ridge

EJ and I climbed the Northeast Ridge of Elbert on 5/27/2006. We started from the trailhead and were able to follow the trail all the way to timberline. There were a few spots right around timberline that required us to cross snow fields but no snow shoes were required. After timberline we followed the snow free trail to the summit. Once we gained the ridge we were hit by a constant 10 - 15 mph wind from the east. Just FYI.
