 Summit attempt Nov2

We started at Tigiwon campground at around 10am. The road to the trailhead is covered with ice/snow but drivable even in a car, but we decided to walk the 2.5miles to reach the trailhead anyway. The trail from the trailhead is covered with about a foot of snow all the way to the top of the Half Moon Pass.
At the top of the pass the snow is mostly wind blown and it ranges from knee to waist deep. We have lost the trail a couple of times going over the pass so we were totally exhausted by the time we descended into the valley.
We found a nice campground by a little lake that was frozen and by the time we setup the tent, the night set in and we were munching on dinner in no time. Than it was nice n quiet.
In the morning I noticed that clouds moved in and it was snowing with winds roaring over 40mph. Since the weather has changed it was risky to stay longer or pushing for the summit so we decided to head back out of this area. This time Ill let this mountain age a little so that its ripe next time.

Good company, great time and I will be back for more.
