 Wetterhorn Peak

Whats up boys and girls? I was with Shanahan96 and my wife Kathi on this climb and it was awesome. Hes totally right, leave now and go do it! If your sketchy on exposure, like I am, then it may be a good idea to bring about 30 of rope and a couple anchors. The road to the trailhead requires some clearance, but 4x4 isnt necessary. We also ran into Bill Middlebrook ( the owner of 14ers.com ) on the way up Wetterhorn. All in all, a great climb.

If you stay in Lake City, be sure to ask the locals for a good place to eat. A&A Pasta, A&A Steak, and Mammys totally suck. Theyre all owned by the same "people". Charlie Ps and Bruno are great.
