Like one of the previous replies the dirt road up to the Lily Lake TH is pretty damn long but nothing to difficult just bloody bumpy.

Left TH early Sat AM. Great hike through the meadows before reaching the real start of the hike.

Great weather with the route being clear most of the way up. We decided on on the gulley route as opposed to the ridge. The thing to keep a breast is the loose rock otherwise a pretty straight forward hike if you follow Bills recommended route.

On the top met some folks who had come up the ridge who informed us its not as bad as it looks from down below.

In all a 6 hour roundtrip with very scenic views of the other mountains including Blanca. Also everyone on the mountain was in high spirits and enjoying their hikes. Great to see.
