tried to drive my suburu legacy up to Yankee Boy basin on Sunday (OCt 9).

I stopped 6 miles in in maybe 8 inches of snow. My decision to stop
was voluntary, not forced. I could have made it past the difficulty at the 6 mile mark.
The amount of snow that had fallen seemed to be increasing (with altitude) a lot there. If I could have remembered what the last two miles of road were like I mightve gone for it. Que so what , so what.
