Missouri and Belford via Missouri Gulch: JULY 16

Began hike at 4am through the dark forest. Fairly easy to navigate with a headlamp. Route up Missouri was practically clear of snow. There was one smaller snowfield just below the saddle between Point 13,784 and Point 13,930. The trail along the ridge to the summit (2/3 mile or so) was fairly easy to navigate. One or two small patches of snow to go through and one short down climb before heading to the top. Took hike rather slow and did not summit until 8:25am.
Headed back down to attempt Belford next. Reached a very crowded summit at 11:25 am. Walked over to start Oxford, but thought it would take 2 hours to go there and return. I decided 2 peaks was enough for the day. Came down the Elkhead Pass trail (much easier on the knees than the switchbacks!) and arrived at the trailhead at 2:25pm.
