 Grays/Torreys - Horseshoe Basin - July 23

Left a long description of the trip and it did not post. Maybe Ill get around to writing it again when I want to burn another 45 minutes of my life. In summary:

Democrat/Lincoln/Bross - day before.
Horseshoe Basin - no people.
Ruby Mountain - found fun class 3/4.
Saddle to Grays - fun, no people, mountain goats.
Summit Grays from due south - shock of 100 people on summit after seeing no one all morning.
Grays to Torreys - pretty girls, Sprint cell coverage from Torreys, storm approaching.
Torreys to saddle between Grays and Mt Edwards - more mountain goats, good pictures.
Descent below saddle to Horseshoe Basin - scree above cliffs, scary, notch in cliffs, not recommended unless you are experienced and fearless, beat lightning.

Sorry I could not be more descriptive, but after it ate my long post, I think Ill start writing my posts in Word and cutting and pasting into the forum. no time now.
