 Elbert North Trail

Went up Friday night with a couple of mates.
I70 West bound was a complete mess as some eighteen wheeler decided to try going off-road without too much success.
Got to the campsite around 9.30ish.
Up and down Elbert in less that 5 hours. It seems like it was National Elbert Day. Ive never seen so many hikers on one 14er. All levels but everyone I believe was having fun.

Met another Forum user on the top (I think mountainlady or something like that). It was nice to see a couple of good looking ladies up the mountain. It added to the scenery.

With the amount of people on the summit, I thought that Starbucks had just opened a new location.

We blew the froth of a couple of cold ones at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Leadville before heading back to Denver. Worth a visit.
