Yeah, the route finding on 13ers is always a bit less clear than the 14ers but that is part of the fun! I like your comparison to the Lake Emma chutes. I would agree that is an accurate comparison of the two routes.

Sounds like you had some route finding on the approach (same for us). The south face reminded me more of Lake Emma chutes vs Quandary. Probably depends on the line you ascend. Very fun mountain for ski/snowboard descents!
