Keller Mountain Loop
We had a fun day up on Keller's east ridge and making a loop traverse over to the North Traverse Peak saddle. Maybe some of these pictures will be helpful to those in the future. Enjoy! Keller Mountain Loop Brandon

jbchalk	Sure is a fun one, Jay. 7/30/2013 2:38pm Yep, the loop was nice to do...always try and do a loop whenever possible. Just makes things more interesting! Hope you are great!
Monster5	Nice, Brandon! 7/30/2013 3:13pm The loop looks nice. I think we might give Keller a go this weekend. Maybe try to cut down a bit earlier on the ridge (12850ish gully to a small lake) to avoid the willows, or is that still a wallow?
jbchalk	Thanks, Ryan 7/30/2013 3:35pm Yep, I think even if you cut down the ridge a bit earlier than the saddle with North Traverse, you'll still have to deal with some dense forests and willows. When you are in willows/forests at a point pretty much below the point along Keller's east ridge where the scrambling starts, look for a small boulder field just north of Rock Creek and you'll see some cairns at the edge of the forests. That will put you on the trail back to Boss Mine. Have fun bud.

By the way - did you ask that grouse if he had seen my chocolate covered peanut butter malted milk balls at the base of the Silver Couloir? I know those little bastards have them, just gotta rattle their cage.

Papillon	Just missed you, chalk... 7/30/2013 5:10pm I recognized you in the lot but it was too early for conversation. Sarah and I took off about five minutes before you. We figured we'd catch you coming back from the summit but you guys were off again. Nice run...

Papillon	Thanks, Brandon... 7/30/2013 6:15pm We did have a good time up there. For a while we thought your group was gonna tack on North Traverse. I started feeling very inadequate on the descent. We'll look for you the next time we visit the range.
jbchalk	You got it, Pap 7/30/2013 7:45pm Give me a shout next time you guys head up into the Gores. Yeah, would have been fun to shuttle a car over to Deluge and maybe tack on that Gore Grand Traverse to make a real long day, but alas wedding duties sometimes call. Cheers!
