Loved the report! Congrats to Ethan but also to you, I'm sure your wife and kids are even more proud of you than if you had risked it!

Next time bro. From what I understand Sneffels is a mountain worth returning to anyway.

quite the combo.

Amazing how fast that basin is melting out. Looks completely different from 7 days ago.

Nice work in an amazing basin, one of the best! Sneffels is such an incredible mountain. Its the ”sentinel” of the San Juans, keeping a watchful eye on all those who enter its realm. I'm sure your decision making on the last 80 feet won yourself brownie points with the humility gods and they will treat you favorably in the future. Karma works out one way or another.

I'm glad you enjoyed...makes me feel less vain about myself when people take something away from the posts.

Hopefully I can get another TR on the via ferrata out in the next day or so. I learned why there aren't many TRs in winter or spring!!!
