 East Ridge Summit

Today I lead a party of four up the east ridge (standard route). There was very little snow on the trail; most of it had blown away over the weekend. I could see tracks from another party in some places. They decided to continue on the old trail past the "wall" which I think was a mistake. The new trail that heads south up to the ridge earlier is a better route. Very little wildlife and no other parties were seen on the trail or the road! Temperatures were very nice (in the 40s and 50s with wind gusting up to 15-20 MPH). The road was easy to drive all the way to the trailhead that deviates from the road. I had to put it in 4wd on the way down.

Sucks. As Zedero said this is a conditions report. You make usefully information in real Trip Reports harder to find by posting something as unhelpful as this.

Obviously I don't know what a trip report is. I'm sorry Kush if you did not find the information useful. Please help me by explaining what a good trip report looks like. I don't want to give people sucky information.
