 Oldest guy on Bierstadt?

On Sunday (7/29) my son, my brother, my dad and I climbed Mt. Bierstadt continuing an annual tradition of climbing a 14er for my birthday that started on my 50th birthday. It was something I wanted to do because after having a severe brain infection some years ago the doctors told me I might not ever walk again. After overcoming that hurdle I really appreciate time in the high country. It is different than anyplace else I've ever been. I do still have issues sometimes. I'm the guy who fell into the creek if you were climbing Bierstadt Sunday. On different years different people join me for the climb. It was great to have three generations of the family along this year. It was especially significant because my dad joined us and summited at 78 years of age.
