 Independence Monument

So this is way past due and I apologize but I still wanted to share it.

Glen and I made a trip to the desert this past September and climbed Elephant Butte, Independence Monument, Owl Rock, Bullwinkle Tower, the Pickle and made an attempt at Ancient Art. I was planning on making a video of the whole trip but ended up spilling coffee on my laptop and losing it all. I was able to salvage this bit this morning of our climb of Indy. It was my 4th time on the tower and Glen's first. Great fun!

VIDEO CAN BE FOUND HERE

Enjoy!

I THROUGHLY enjoyed watching the video, Brian. It was excellently put together and what I would assume to be edited down well. Sucks about the laptop, dude.
But congrats on Otto's Route! Both to you and Glen. Been a LONG TIME since I've been out with Glen.

Otto's is definitely a classic. Hopefully at some point, I'll make my own venture up there.
Thanks for posting!!!

Nice video man! Well done on the editing and music, this was a pleasure to watch. Looks like you had a picture-perfect day up there, must have been a sweet top-out on that bad boy. My juices are flowin' for this one, I'm hoping to get up it this fall.

Thanks man. It actually started to rumble thunder on us on the summit to get our blood pumping. I'd be happy to climb this with you if you need somebody. I'd like to do the Independence Chimney Route...
