 Decalibron

We camped at kite lake and started our ascent at 6AM. The conditions were good, about 30 degrees and dry. As we ascended we went into the clouds at the Lincoln/Cameron saddle. The summit of Lincoln was fully clouded, but not windy.

As we reached Cameron the weather cleared and was sunny. The temperature stayed in the low to mid 30's with little wind. Very comfortable.

On Bross, we encountered the strange sight of two motorcycles riding up and over the summit. Otherwise, a perfectly good hike.

There was no snow on any summits or on any trails, except the Cameron-Lincoln saddle. This was just a dusting and nothing requiring special equipment.

The road to the trailhead was open and in good condition. Any 2WD vehicle could reach kite lake. There was a sign noting a road closure on 9/12 from 7PM to 7AM.

The climb back down to the TH was dicey, steep, and tiring. Overall, a great day and fantastic hike!

Good lord we don't need another summit with vehicles on it, Pikes and Evans are enough... I did decalibron on the 10th as well, must have just missed the bikes.

I also did the DeCaLiBron on 09/10 and saw the motorcycles. They were enduro-style bikes (Street/Trail). We were probably 30 minutes behind you and saw them coming back off Bross as we crossed the Cameron/Bross saddle
