 Elbert - Northeast Ridge   

Left Denver around 4:15 AM and arrived at the TH approximately 6:30 AM. TH parking lot was already half full.

Trail was a little damp the first quarter mile or so with a little bit of snow melt runoff remaining. There was a flimsy bridge about one half mile in crossing a small stream.

Moderately steep going up through the trees which continues for almost the entire journey to the top.

Split off from the Colorado Trail about 1 mile in.

This is the small clearing at 11,600'. Looks like you can see the summit, but that's not it.
