 Chicagoans on Mt. Eolus       

As with the Sunlight/Windom trip report I just shared, this report on the Mt. Eolus is also shared on my own hiking blog with a large assortment of photos, videos, and track files. I also have two panoramas shared which I'm fairly proud of.

A look at the snow in the upper basin below Eolus

A closer look at the snow guarding the ramp entrance. With some effort it could possibly be avoided.

A look at our crampon route through at 6am. In the afternoon it was boot-able

Snow patch below the green notch. We booted next to the rock on the left

Eolus east face. Snow patch in view is avoidable

A look at the terrain below North Eolus
