Michelle and I made the long trek into the heart of the Eagles Nest Wilderness for a climb and ski of the majestic Peak Q. Enjoy the pictures!

is an understatement. That must've been one hell of a slog with ski stuff on your back and feet. Thats a sweet line and a trip worth cherishing.

Awesome. Was up there same time last year and there was no snow until you got to Peak Q itself. I didn't get up to Q until day 3...I can't imagine it as a day trip. Great job!

That's a nice notch to put on your skis. Looks like a lot of grunting!

The shot skinning with the headlamp, that must be the next day? Where did you bivy?

This is one of the most impressive skiing ideas I've seen in a while. Who the heck has skied ”Prisoner Peak/Peak Q?” I'm gussing no more than 20 people in the history of that mountain. Amazing execution.

We camped at Upper Slate Lake. Skinning shot was the next day, taken just after leaving camp, trying to make our way around the lake towards the peak.

Kane - If it wasn't for the approach, I think this would be a classic Colorado ski, such a great line in a beautiful range!

Can't wait to do Peak Q this September! I'm the type that waits for the snow to melt
