Those pictures make hauling that heavy cape/bivy bag up there worth it!
Real good trip report, well written. And a great day out.
But you need to spell the little dog's name right, or use the alternate spelling, KaZoom Kangaroo.

I agree! That is one of my favorites of the season so far, atleast in Colorado this year. Great line! It is nice that they finally got the road open. That has to be one of the better lines in the Sawatch.

Nice to see that road is open, there is a lot of good stuff in that basin, I may have to try and get back in there soon! One of these days I have to repeat Grizzly with skis, thanks for the reminder

I think we passed you guys coming out saturday afternoon. We got up there on Sunday. Definitely not a hard overnight freeze but good snow. Good times!
