Good report, things look to be melting nicely up there. It's always a pain to have to regain the summit just to get back to the main trail isn't it? To bad you didn't make it up tabby though and make the the extra trip worth the effort.

Looking for a 14er

Am looking for a 14er to hike on June 25. Can this one be summited without an ice axe,crampons or snowshoes? If not, any other recommendations?

I would guess that you won't have problems with snow in a week. The snow that was up there on Sunday wasn't really all that hard to contend with...the two-year-old pup pulling us down did made things interesting though. But we were without snow tools of any sort and did not have regrets after.
