Info: Road is open just beyond the Mennonite Camp. Impassable beyond there. Many people have tried though and gotten stuck. No one maintains beyond that point anymore until the campground opens up for the summer.

Info: As of 03/03/07 There is still tons of snow on the trail from the Menonnite campground. There's a parking area a little ways up the trail from the M. campground, where the plow stops, i guess. From there, even if you have 4WD, there's a very high likelihood you'll be completely stuck, very quickly. The snow is very stomped down tho, so traveling by foot is easy, you can go w/o snowshoes up to Crags TH. From there, snowshoes are neccesary.

Info: Lots 'o snow. The road leading to the trailhead is plowed to about 1/2 mile past the Mennonite camp. From there people are parking and hiking the rest of the way to the trailhead so get an extra early start if you plan on taking this route.

Info: TH is still accessible by any vehicle, though snow is on the road so good tires would be a good idea.

Info: A lot of new snow fell on October 30th. Reaching the TH is probably not possible in regular passenger cars, I would suspect Subarus and other AWD cars with decent clearance can still make it.

Info: Recent snows have made the road muddy and messy. May be difficult in low clearance 2wd cars now.

Info: Road is open and has been grades since the winter. 2WD vehicles can get to the TH, though still a couple of rough spots.

Info: the road to the trailhead is completely snowfree and passable to regular passenger vehicles. If you camp, camp in a number of campsites on the left before you get to the crags campground so you can camp for free instead of paying $11.

Info: The road to the Crags Camp is now totally accessible, even to regular passenger cars. The parking lot will accommodate at least twenty vehicles, but it does fill up quick.

Info: April 15, 2005: There is still snow on portions of the Fourmile road. 4x4 vehicles can make it all the way to the Crags parking area, but low clearance 2WD vehicles might not get much further than the Mennonite Camp.
