From Lake City, drive about 2 miles south on Colorado 149 and turn right on County Road 30 toward Lake San Cristobal and Cinnamon Pass. Drive 12.1 miles to a Y-junction and turn left onto County Road 35. Continue another 1.2 miles to the Cataract Gulch Trailhead.
