Driving Directions
From the town of Ridgway, take CO-62 west for approx. 5.5 miles. Turn left onto County Road (CR) 7 and drive about 9 miles to the trailhead. The dirt road follows the East Fork of Dallas Creek and is usually in good condition, although you may encounter rough sections. At 2.3 miles, the road forks—stay right to continue on CR 7. Just before the trailhead, an open meadow provides dispersed camping.

CLEAR AND DRY TO THE TRAILHEAD. QUITE CROWED AT 10:30AM. FOR A TUESDAY. LOWER LAKE WAS VERY NICE, AS IT WAS MUCH MORE BLUE FOR JUNE THAN USUAL.
