Took 3 hours 35 min from camp 1/2 mile up trail from TH to summit of Needle.
Took 2 hrs 25 minutes to complete traverse from Needle to top of NW Couloir between Crestone Peak and E Crestone. Clouds prevented view of route to top of Peak. Ill-advised descent of couloir and attempted circling to Bears Playground and descent to S Colony took 9 hours back to camp. Clouds blocked visibility and I ended up in the basin SE of South Colony. |
