Notes: None of the previously posted times were slow, even if "slow" is by their standards. I feel if you can wedge climbing a 14er between eating at a restaurant for both breakfast AND lunch, you‘re way too fast - for me, and for many in this forum. Most of us strive to be faster, so thanks for the quick times. This particular climb was delayed by about 20 minutes of a half-hearted ascent through strong winds and rain, and another 20 minutes of duck and cover behind a stand of trees in hopes the storm would blow over. In the end this could have been my first RT below 6 hours. That‘s my next incremental step towards improvement. Oh, I also list a higher elevation gain than the trail actually has, because to flee to tree line was about an additional 350‘ descent.
