Just so the previous update isn‘t misleading - I made it up to the towers on 9/11 in my Jeep Compass (4WD but not high clearance), but scraped bottom 3 times both up and down. High clearance is best for this road. The road is actually smoother beyond the towers, but there aren‘t many places to park.
