I parked at the lower trailhead and walked from there. I really think I could have chained up my ‘06 Honda Civic and driven to the upper trailhead parking lot at 10,400‘. The big holes on the 4WD road are filled in, the one stream crossing is frozen solid, and somebody drove a Honda CRV to 10,400‘ on Wednesday, 1/9/13.
