Status Update
I drove 1 mile up the Mt. Princeton Road yesterday and parked at the junction where the Colorado Trail heads north. This was easy four-wheeling on a partly snow-packed road that is melting out fast. It was possible (see previous post) to drive further, but there is no parking at the point where Old School decided to stop, and very limited opportunities to turn around safely. It may be possible to drive all the way to the radio towers next weekend, depending on how much snow melts and how aggressive you are. Chains would probably help.
