Road still impassable at the first switchback... although it looks like lots have tried. The road is snow/ice free up to the first switchback and looked like it was drivable to the first fork if you could get through that first switchback. The rest of the road was fairly decent with just a few spots that looked hairy all the way to the summer trailhead. A couple more weeks at least.
