Went up Sunday (4/4) in a Jeep Liberty Sport. The road to the Rocky Mountain Camp is snow free and mostly dry, with many potholes. The next 0.5 mi is snow packed with some deep tire ruts and little option to avoid them. We parked ~1 mi shy of the Crags Campground entrance (in March I drove all the way to the CG). We attempted to go further, but had to back down as the risk of getting stuck was too great. Only one other truck went ~.25 mi further before parking. No other vehicles had driven the road beyond that since the last snowstorm. Snow depths on the side of the road were at 2‘.
The road to the TH has a packed down path from back country enthusiasts. Snowshoes were not needed to hike the road.
