Climbed solo on Mt. Princeton today for a third try. Last week, storms were rolling in. Yesterday, 'Alpinegoat' (Arvind) and I tried and were blown off the mountain after passing the "ridge crest" described in the Bill's route. Today, totally different story. I was not only the only person on the mountain, but conditions were amazing. A couple of gusts at the ridge crest, and that was IT. The snow covers some of the route but actually makes the talus slopes easier in my opinion. Here is a video from the summit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udhK91xvDo8

Thank you, it was a great day. I do not, however, want to hike on Mt. Princeton road for a while... 3 times on that gets a bit redundant. I am glad we had a good try despite the wind. Were you able to make it to Quandry?

Alpinegoat
Yup!!

Made it to Quandary and to Grays the next day. Gray's would have been more fun if I had traction. Was icy and was using my poles as brakes / crutches.

Glad you got them in! The weather has been amazing in the last couple of days. I was up on Harvard and Columbia today with PERFECT conditions!
