Climbed Wetterhorn's Southeast Ridge then trekked over to Uncompahgre's South Ridge on 10/8/16. There was light snow here and there on the trail that links over to Uncompahgre's standard route, but traction/microspikes were not needed. There was light soft snow/slick mud on top of the South Ridge for most of the hike up to the ridge crest. Little snow above the ridge crest to the summit. I didn't take many pictures as we were pretty gassed from Wetterhorn and the hike over, but two are attached. |
