Summitted Castle and Conundrum on Thursday 9/24. No snow on route -- that's not a great thing. Descent down Conundrum from the saddle (I guess that's Castle's NW Ridge) was terrible on loose, steep scree and dirt. Think Bross x10. Give some thought to going back over Castle and descending the NE Ridge, or skipping Conundrum. Beautiful out there this time of year. Full TR to follow. |
