Hardly any recent snow accumulations. We did not make it to the summit but it looked pretty benign and blown mostly bare. Strong headwind. Bitter temps (not any worse than Denver currently) We brought microspikes and never used them -- however we were constantly walking on snow. There is only an inch or three on the ground all the way up to treeline. Above it is spotty wind depositions. Humboldt completely missed the snowstorms and was completely free of clouds during the day. If you hurry now you can follow our two-inch-deep trench up to treeline. Poles were helpful.

thurs	Delicious 11/12/2014 8:56pm The Crestones looked to be holding a decent amount of snow on most surfaces (at least the east facing aspects). I heard the west aspects were supposed to be fairly blown clean (with snow deposited on the east aspects).

thurs	Well 11/12/2014 9:49pm Mountain-Forecast is showing accumulations of maybe 2-4 inches for Humboldt, so you could get lucky. It's something to monitor over the next couple days. Sunday may be doable if you have traction.

thurs	You Should Be Fine 11/12/2014 10:09pm It was more of the fact that Saturday is going to be freezing and white-out. If you're prepared to hike through ankle-knee deep snow with some larger drifts on Sunday, that's what I would expect.
