Slushy on some of the shady slopes above 13.5k, but easy to cope if you have trekking poles and/or micro spikes/good boots. Backside of Bierdstadt has a great snow field to glisade down to the start of the Sawtooth. No rollerballs/pinwheels to hint at possible wet slides, ~ 300 ft of very fun glisading. Sawtooth ridge was dry, but the last section has plenty of loose gravel to keep in mind. Evans was clear Sawtooth to summit.

What's the East Ridge of Bierstadt looking like? Not sure how good a view you got of it though...

We ran into a pair that did this route, but didn't inquire about the conditions. From what we could see of it, there was very little snow except for the snowfield just below the summit of Bierdstadt that is in Photo #2. Let me know if you're able to see the link below.!/photo.php?fbid=10101660289912520&set=a.10101660229483620.3198710.1943277&type=1&theater

Nope, I don't have facebook, that might be the problem. No worries, though, I'm sure conditions are only getting dryer and I have a little bit before I'm doing this route. Thanks
