Climbed Princeton & Tigger via East Ridge with East Slopes descent. Booted up to end of previous track (thanks leadvilleclimber!), snowshoed up until avy slope on switchback past radio towers. Bypassed avy slope by heading straight up the hill to next switchback. Obvious signs of a fairly recent avalanche present. Waist deep snow made for some interesting postholing, but it was relatively shortlived. Booted up for the remainder, microspikes useful on the descent. Didn't regret stashing the snowshoes one bit. Didn't use them on the way down, though with the warm temps of the day, the snow was softer resulting in some occasional postholing. Looks like there may have been some additional folks on the trail below treeline, but I never saw anyone else (well, except for an officer from the county's sheriff's office, but you'll just have to wait for the trip report). Winds were strong late morning/early afternoon on the ridge, then dropped off for most of the remainder of the day. Would highly recommend staying on the ridge and away from the East Slopes route due to the high number of avy chutes that have to be crossed.
