Parked at the winter trailhead parking area at about 11,000 feet. One vehicle went up to the the gate at the summer trailhead last weekend but, still is restricted to high clearance 4wd only. Was the only one on the mountain 1/10.

How was the hike? Still no need for snowshoes? Traction device?

I ascended directly up to the left side of the summit ridge and descended down the saddle between Sherman and White Ridge. Coming down I put microspikes on to come thru crusted snow fields. This route has glissade tracks everywhere. Today they may have gotten some snow that may change things.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping to squeeze this in sometime soon.
