Description from backcountry.com:
The Arc'teryx Men's Theta SV Bib includes a tough face fabric over its Gore-Tex Pro waterproof breathable material for extra durability needed in harsh alpine environments. No matter how nasty the weather gets, this Arc'teryx bib takes it in stride thanks to a high-waist design and integrated gaiters. Waist-to-ankle side zippers let you put on this bib even when you're already wearing mountaineering or ski boots, and large ankles accommodate this oversized footwear. The Theta SV Bib also includes a gusseted crotch to increase freedom of movement and a front zipper to make it easy to answer nature's call.
With the weather protection of the Arc'teryx Theta SV Bib, even the worst mountain storms feel like a light breeze.

yeah, these are expensive, but the little features (especially the full length side zippers) make these bibs worth spending the extra cash. i have worn these things on waterfall ice and scraped them up worming through rock chimneys on alpine routes, and they appear to be indestructible. add that to the fact that they're backed by the ironclad arcteryx warranty and reputation and there's no reason to buy anything else.

Arc'teryx - The Best Money Can Buy! I live on the East Coast where I ski and snowboard local resorts in the Mid-Atlantic Region. We frequently see ice here. I also take at least one trip out west each year. This year I experienced BIG Powder. These Arc'teryx Theta SV Bib Ski Pants are the best I have ever owned. Nothing I have ever had comes close. They are light weight, comfortable and extremely durable. I am 6' 1" 240lbs and the XL fits perfect. The length is great, the built in suspenders are small and more manageable than any I have ever seen. They have a built in belt around the waist so there is no chance of snow in getting in when you are sitting down strapping your board on. The crew at Altrec is awesome also. Buy Sell or Hold? Believe me, these are an absolute BUY!
