partners for memorial weekend

Postby dubsho3000 » Wed May 22, 2013 12:05 pm

I'm looking for some partners for a ski descent or two this weekend. I was thinking about Snoopy's Backside Chute on Citadel. After that, I'm thinking Tuning Fork (or Dead Dog) on Torrey's or something in the Gores - maybe Red Peak. I'm also open to suggestions - just want to get out and ski. I'd be up for a good snow climb as well - maybe Apache or Navajo in the IPW?

Did you find anyone to ski with this weekend? I'm definitely down for Torreys or Red Pk. A friend and I got turned around with high winds on Red back in April and I'd love a second shot.
What I'm up to on the weekends...

I'm up for something Saturday. Either red or something in IPW. Let me know if you're getting out that day.

A few of us skiing Horseshoe (Boudoir couloir) tomorrow. Late 6.30 am start as it is supposed to be pretty chilly and windy. Others welcome to join.

I'll tag along if you guys don't mind. Are you meeting at the snow closure?

Nope, we don't mind. Yep, at winter closure - just before turnoff for Horseshoe. Look for a Subaru with 14ers.com and Silverton stickers and ginormous black Toyota truck with white top.

P.S. Make it 6.00-6.15 am. Having trouble believing "high of 35" forecast.
