More info on this loser and his break-ins...
When Nick G. and I went to climb LB->Blanca in August, we parked at 8,800', just inside the forest service boundary. I set up a couple of game cameras in the event my truck was broken into and we went up to stay the night at the lake. One of them was a cellular camera, set to immediately upload to the web. The next day, when I returned to Internet service along the road, i got a notification on my phone that I had camera pics. I checked and found a single photo of the guy below, looking into my truck. Pliers in his pocket, hammer in his hand. But I received no other pics, which seemed odd based on how I set it up. When I got back to the truck, I found that he had smashed my cell camera that was locked to a tree. He must have noticed it just after he looked into the truck because it would have sent a 30 second video to the web, if it had enough time.
No damage to the truck, but he did break into the bed by prying up my tonneau cover before stealing some stuff. We reported it to the Sheriff and sent them the photo.
Fast forward to the arrest of Sandoval, with additional photos that were released, and we have a match to the guy who broke into my truck - see below. So, I'm guessing he's the one responsible for most, if not all, of the break-ins over the past year or two. Loser.

When I initially spoke to the Sheriff, they mentioned they were about to increase patrols and surveillance in the area. Sounds like they did so and obtained some photos, then determined it was Sandoval.

Wow, sorry about your phone and the stolen items! Like Susan said, great detective work! I am thinking of going to do Blanca in the coming weeks and just wanted to check in to see if the break ins have in fact stopped this year since this guys arrest? My car can only go so high up so I am worried about a break in :/
