I was on the summit of Sneffels Saturday evening. The gully near the summit had snow almost knee deep. I was thinking that maybe I should have brought my snowboard/skis for the descent.
Will belay for free.

SNOW (crappy route finding) + solo + government shutdown (afraid of driving clear to Ouray and finding a closed gate, or having to pay for a hotel) = wait until next fall to experience the goodness of the Dallas Divide and Mt. Sneffles. Boo.
