Well WyomingBob was an Atty and here is a news report from Cheyenne. The photo they show on the news report looks like him too.

Same age, also. I'd corresponded some with him last year, and he was quite gracious. I would have liked to have done some climbing with him.

Damn. When I read about the accident and heard it was a "Wyoming man" it just never occurred to me that it was "WyomingBob".

Never had the good fortune of meeting him, but I too enjoyed reading his "Climbing with Bob" page that contained his numerous and humorous trip reports. They always made me smile.

My condolences to his family and friends. His wisdom and humor will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace....

Just awful, I had seen the article earlier and no idea it was Wyoming Bob, he had some great TRs and its a shame to see him lose his life like this.

Just a rough start to summer for all of us.

God. What is going on around here?
Bob was an awesome guy. Good personality. Didn't really put two & two together
until now. No more tragedy.
Prayers to his family in this.

I was just thinking the same thing. I loved that guy's trip reports. He was always climbing stuff right before me, so his trip reports were always useful and enjoyable. Ugh.

Shaping up as another rough summer. God bless and keep you all. Wouldn't mind seeing fewer of these stories.

Very sad.
I hadn't met Wyoming Bob, but I've enjoyed his TR's.
Seemed like a very down-to-earth guy who really loved the mountains.
Wishing his family and friends peace, healing and comfort.
