You can usually find old issues like this for maybe $10 a pop at used bookstores. Get a simple box frame and you're on your way.

I believe there is an issue of Life regarding the '53 Everest expedition but I have not seen it. I think there is one on the Italians ascent of K2 as well but haven't seen that either.
