"Whistle-pig" reminded me of my southern roots. That's what we called them. Even cooked with sweet potatoes they don't taste all that great. The fascination with southern culture continues I guess. I wonder what is next.

All the natives I know from around here call them whistle pigs as well.

Isn't the giant marmot irrelevant this year??? Doesn't winter actually have to start before we find out if/when it will end?!?!?!
