In recognition of the passage of Colorado Amendment 64 last week:

Creepin' through this cloud of smoke
With a little bit of funk to make ya choke
Gangstas come feel good inside
As we take you for a ride to another dimension
Deep from a fat O-Z
Two crooked ass n*ggaz on a cosmic journey
Straight from the planet G
Where the real n*ggaz dwell in the realms of Ruthless

My second favorite album of the year. Complete album rock from song #1 through the finish. "Tides" is the song that will be my #1 song for 2012. The lyric destroy me. This is a beautiful album. I love the simplicity of the bass and percussion and the blended vocals.

New from the Stones. I saw them on Mick's 35th B-day. These old boys still have it.
(I've managed to screw up this simple post twice. This should do it.)

Been listening to a lot of Blind Melon lately on Pandora. Always liked them, a lot, but I've decided they were really under appreciated. Well, except for their one hit, No Rain, which is probably one of their worst. The album Nico, in particular, has some gems.

Soup (Blind Melon) is a really good album too. Some of it is kinda downer music, but it's good nonetheless.

A little off the beaten path, but a must-listen for the guitarists out there. Vintage Paco de Lucia. Gets in your blood after a while.
