We owe it to ourselves and to the next generation to conserve the environment so that we can bequeath our children a sustainable world that benefits all.

A timeless classic, still relevant today....

"Alternative facts are not facts. They’re falsehoods."

I always thought the lyrics were "You're a dickhead in love"
"Alternative facts are not facts. They’re falsehoods."

Yeah, it's a complete mystery *cough*muttlange*cough*.

I'd like to take your "Harlan" reference a few posts back and run with it...

Steve Earle and Del McCoury Band:

Emmylou's going back:

Dave Alvin, "Across the Harlan County Line" (and a shout out to "Justified", season 2 was amazing)

Somewhere in the You Tubes I ran across this cover of "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive":

The same woman has a lot of bluegrass- and folk-inspired tunes that she plays with her daughters on banjo/mandolin/fiddle. They're good... I wouldn't necessarily call them great but the family music thing is pretty cool.

And now for something completely different: Mozart on a mandolin!

These guys were the opener at the Aesop Rock show in Denver this June, I had never heard of them before. I was blown away how good they were, and was super excited to see them making a few stops in Colorado on a second round of touring. Wouldn't you know it though, I had an exam the night they were in Boulder. Next time...

Some Stones worth listening to.

Mick had his head right from time to time.

HAHAHA! One of my favorite Family Guy scenes. Now I had to go search for cool drum videos...way to make me waste time at work Kiefer. You might appreciate this one. Danny Carey is freaking awesome and one of the many reasons Tool will always be at the top of my "Music that is awesome" list. This list is by far superior to anyone else's list fyi...

Can't hear the rest of the band well, but you can see Danny Carey be is normal super drummer self and its cool to hear his drums more out front. His beats are just... :YY
"The greatest battle is not physical but psychological. The demons telling us to give up when we push ourselves to the limit can never be silenced for good. They must always be answered by the quiet, steady dignity that simply refuses to give in. Courage. We all suffer. Keep going." - Graeme Fife
