Barry and his wife Raman had a baby girl this morning. Kirin Ruby Raven is the newest member of our climbing community. =D>

Congrats!! =D>

At least from all of the mountain climbing, you'll be used to getting up in the middle of the night.

The clock is ticking on the latest "youngest 14er finisher" attempt. Congratulations!

Congrats. :-D

I think it's more like 5th class.

Sometimes scary, requires ropes and knot tying skills, and is easier with a partner.
I'm slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

However, not every day on exposed Class 4 involves poopy diapers!

Congratulations, Barry! Now you can start practicing answering your door with your ice axe in hand for when all the boys come calling...

Class 6?

Requires a hammer, large steel spikes (a drill and crescent wrench can subtitute), and a sling to lounge in while you're regrouping for another attack.

Congrats! You are definitely about to climb a mountain that you will probably never 'conquer' but it will be the most satisfying climb of your life!
